Sodium bicarbonate (also know as bicarbonate of soda here in the UK and baking soda in the US) is two natural minerals that are combined. When diluted it becomes an alkaline solution that is great at cutting through grease and fights bacteria that is encouraged by acidic environments. It is also a natural deodoriser.

How do I use it?
Mix 2-4 tbsp with a little water or Castile soap to make a great scouring paste for heavy duty scrubbing. Sprinkle onto carpets, upholstery and mattresses to remove odours (try adding some essential oils too). Make your own washing and dishwashing powder too.

Where can I use this around my home?
- make your own laundry powder (look out for my recipe)
- use it to scrub pots/ovens/hobs
- clean children’s toys
- on upholstery, carpets, rugs and mattresses
- to clean marks on painted walls
- remove odours from the fridge/bins
- use in sinks to clear and remove odours from drains

DO NOT CONSUME. NOT FOOD GRADE.
